About My Greece
An independent guide to Greece, island by island — built as a reference, not a booking funnel.
What this is
Greece is not one destination, it is dozens — and the question most travellers actually have is not "should I go to Greece" but "which island, and what do I do once I am there". So this site is organised the way the country is: every island has its own page, with its beaches, sights, tavernas, hotels and, where it exists, its nightlife. Athens, Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, the Peloponnese, Meteora and the other mainland destinations sit alongside.
Around the places are the things a listing cannot answer: how the ferries work and when to book them, how to hop between islands without wasting days in ports, what things cost, what the weather is really like in May or October, and how to get there from Romania by car or plane.
Checked, and dated
Prices and practical details were checked in 2026 and are dated where they appear. Where something changes often or could not be verified — ferry timetables above all — the page says how it works and points you to the operator instead of printing a number that will be wrong by next season.
Place data — names, addresses, coordinates, ratings, opening hours and photographs — comes from Google Places and is refreshed periodically. The editorial text, island guides and practical pages are written by us, under the byline of Tony Denesa.
Independent
No island, hotel or tourism board commissions or approves what we write. If the honest answer is that a famous beach is overcrowded in August, the page says so.
How this is paid for
Two ways, stated plainly — and there is no display advertising on this site:
