The classic Cyclades
The route most first-timers want, and for good reason: Mykonos for the town and the nights, Paros and Naxos for beaches, villages and food at saner prices, Santorini to finish on the caldera. The ferries between them are frequent in season.

- Best months
- Late May–June, September–early October
- Suits
- First visits, couples, friends; anyone who wants variety over depth.
- The catch
- July and August bring the meltemi to exactly this route, plus the highest prices and the biggest crowds (Mykonos and Santorini also receive cruise ships). Two nights per island is the minimum; drop one island rather than rush.
