The town beach, a long shelf of sand and fine shingle that starts about twenty minutes' walk south of the harbour and runs on for well over a kilometre. Sunbeds and cafés cluster at the near end and thin out as you go; keep walking and you will have space even in August. It is where Tinos itself swims after work, and the single most useful beach on the island if you have no car.
