Archaeological Museum of Mytilene
Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Μυτιλήνης
The new building holds the island's Hellenistic and Roman material, and the star exhibits are the mosaic floors lifted from a late Roman villa in Mytilene — including a scene of Menander and panels naming the plays. The older building nearby covers prehistory and the archaic period. Together they are the best single hour you can spend understanding what Lesvos was before the olive trees.
