Evgatis Beach

Παραλία Εβγάτης

⛱️ Sunbeds & umbrellas🤿 Good snorkelling👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly

Ask an islander for the best beach and this is usually the answer. Evgatis — Agios Pavlos on older signs — is a long open sweep of pale sand on the south coast with a chapel on the rocks at one end and volcanic outcrops offshore that are worth a mask. There is a canteen and a scatter of sunbeds, but most of it is undeveloped. It takes the southerly head-on, so check the forecast.
