Lefkos is a scatter of three or four sandy bays on the west coast with a small settlement of rooms and tavernas between them; Potali Bay is the main one. The sand is pale and soft, the water shallow, and the peninsula and islets offshore break most of the swell. It is the only real resort on the western side and a long but beautiful drive from Pigadia over the mountain.
