Varvarousa
Βαρβαρούσα
A pale pebble beach on the north-west coast with no road to it: the way in is a footpath of forty minutes or so from the Syringas area, or a boat from Kini. Nothing there at all — no shade, no water, no buildings — and water so clear it looks shallow when it is not. One of the best half-day walks on the island.
