Vatera Beach

Βατερά

⛱️ Sunbeds & umbrellas👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly

Nine kilometres of grey-gold sand on the south coast, the longest beach on Lesvos and one of the longest in Greece. It never feels crowded because there is simply too much of it: a handful of hotels and tavernas at the eastern end, sunbeds in front of them, and then kilometres of nothing. The water shelves gently, which makes it a straightforward family beach, and the Agios Fokas headland at the far end has the remains of a temple.
