Archaeological Museum of Andros
Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Άνδρου
Next door to the art museum and worth the half-hour for one object: the Hermes of Andros, a Roman copy of a Praxiteles original, found at Palaiopoli and displayed alone in a room built for it. Around it are the finds from Zagora and Palaiopoli — Geometric pottery, grave goods, architectural fragments — which turn two scrappy hillside sites into a readable story.
