Sariza Spring, Apikia
Πηγή Σάριζα
At Apikia, 310 metres up on the slope above Chora, the Sariza water comes out of a sculpted stone lion's head into a basin and has done for long enough that it is bottled and sold across Greece. People drive up with empty containers and fill them. There is a square, a café or two and a view down the valley, and the path to the Pythara waterfalls starts a few minutes away.
