The third of the fortified mastic villages, between Mesta and Pyrgi and quieter than either. The defensive tower still stands in the middle of the square, which is unusual — in most of these villages it was pulled down or built into houses. There are some xysta façades here too, fewer than at Pyrgi, and a handful of tavernas. Twenty minutes is enough, and it combines naturally with the cave down the road.
