Aeginitissa Beach
Αιγινήτισσα
Aeginitissa is a sheltered cove on the south-west coast, a couple of kilometres before the fishing village of Perdika, backed by pines that come almost down to the sand. The bay faces west across to the island of Moni and the Peloponnese, so it is the beach to be on at sunset, and the water is calm and shallow near the shore. There is a taverna and sunbeds in season, and shade under the trees if you get there early. Bus or scooter from Aegina town, about twenty minutes.
