Potami Beach

Ποτάμι

⛱️ Sunbeds & umbrellas🤿 Good snorkelling👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly

West of Karlovasi, where a wooded gorge comes down to the sea. The beach is sand and fine shingle with tamarisk shade at the back, a canteen and sunbeds, and the river behind it feeds the walk to the waterfalls and the eleventh-century chapel of Metamorfosi. Doing both in a morning — gorge, chapel, swim — is one of the best half-days on Samos.
