Potamos Beach

Ποταμός

⛱️ Sunbeds & umbrellas👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly

Potamos is the section of the Epanomi sand coast that the city's twenty-somethings mean when they say they are going to the beach: a beach bar on the dunes, music from midday, sunbeds in rows and a car park that fills fast at weekends. The sand is the same broad, open stretch as the rest of Epanomi and the water is shallow a long way out. It is around 35 km and 45 minutes from the centre, with no useful bus, so you need a car or a lift. Quiet on weekday mornings, loud by Saturday afternoon.
