Vergia Beach

Παραλία Βεργιάς

🏳️ Blue Flag⛱️ Sunbeds & umbrellas👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly

Vergia is the next bay down from Nea Kallikratia, about 50 km from Thessaloniki, and it is the one to pick if the town beach looks too built up. The sand is the same fine, pale stuff and the water just as shallow, but the back of the beach is low-rise holiday houses rather than a promenade, and it stays quieter outside August. It is organised, with sunbeds and a couple of beach bars, and it holds a Blue Flag for 2026. You need a car; buses stop on the main road, a walk away.
