Thanos Beach

Παραλία Θάνους

⛱️ Sunbeds & umbrellas👨‍👩‍👧 Family-friendly

A wide sandy bay below the village of Thanos, bracketed by low rock and backed by dunes and a few tavernas. It is quieter than Platy a couple of kilometres north and the water is just as shallow, so families who find Platy too organised come here instead. Parking is on sand at the end of the track; go in early or late August afternoons when the light turns the whole bay gold.
