Zogeria is the deep, pine-ringed bay on the north-west side of Spetses, and for many people it is the best swim on the island: water of an improbable green-blue, sheltered from most winds, and the Argolid mountains across the channel. It is really two bays, the larger one organised with sunbeds and a taverna under the trees, the smaller quieter. Come by beach boat from the Dapia, by scooter or by taxi on the ring road. Shade is genuine here, which is rarer on Spetses than you would expect.
