Castello Rosso
Κοκκινόκαστρο
The Red Castle, on a spur above the village of Myloi three kilometres north of Karystos: a thirteenth-century Lombard and Venetian fortress whose curtain walls, cisterns and a chapel survive. The climb is short but steep and the view runs from Ochi down over the whole bay. Free and unsupervised, so take the usual care around unfenced drops.
