Sokastro
Σώκαστρο
A medieval fortress on a rock islet just off the coast at Lefkos, joined to the shore by a shallow spit that can be waded in calm weather. The walls and cisterns are still there on top. Getting across depends entirely on the sea; on a rough day look at it from the beach instead, which is how most people see it.
