Kipos Beach

Παραλία Κήπου

🤿 Good snorkelling

Kipos is the one people drive an hour of dirt road for: a long shore of smooth grey pebbles at the eastern end of the island, cliffs behind it, a seasonal canteen and nothing else. The water is deep, clear and cold, and snorkelling along the rocks at either end is good. The track from Therma is rough but passable with care in a normal car when dry; after rain, do not. There is no shade at all, so come early or late and bring an umbrella.
